Huddersfield Station Celebrity Cat Has Over 60,000 Facebook Fans

Celebrity black and white cat, Felix, who's home is Huddersfield railway station, has recently reached sixty thousand Facebook fans and has a book written about it

Felix, the Huddersfield railway station cat, celebrated a recent birthday with not only a smart new hat, but more importantly - 60,000 Facebook fans.

Felix the railway cat, who was promoted to 'Senior Pest Controller' at Huddersfield station in 2016, has received birthday wishes from countries across the world such as, Paraguay, America, Germany, Malaysia, Italy, Pakistan, Finland, Belgium, the Netherlands and France.

Felix said: "Just because it's my birthday, I will still be working hard to ensure the people of Huddersfield have a train station free from rats and pigeons".

Well, she would have said that if she could speak.  Puuurrrrrr-fick!

Author, Kate Moore, has written a book entitled, 'Felix the Railway Cat' and is published by Penguin Books.  Royalties from the sale of the book will go to the charity, Prostate Cancer UK.
