Photo Class 47790 Diesel Loco 'Galway Princess' Heads Northern Belle

A 'grabbed' photo of Class 47790 UK diesel locomotive bearing the name, 'Galloway Princess', heading the Northern Belle luxury train through Northampton station.  Sadly, the date when I witnessed this, was for some inexplicable reason not recorded.


A section of a Class 350 electric multiple unit in London Midland Trains livery can be seen stabled on the station's sidings.

Direct Rail Services Class 47853 locomotive forms the rear motive power for the Northern Belle train.  In 2004, this locomotive carried the name, 'Rail Express'.
