Thunderbirds Are Go! Well, ok, not exactly in this example.
UK Virgins Trains Class 57308 'Thunderbirds Tin Tin' diesel locomotive is seen here stabled in a bay platform at Rugby station on the 2nd. September 2012.

Before conversion to a Class 57 from a Class 47, the locomotive was numbered 47846.
In January 2014, the nameplates Tin Tin and Parker fetched over £4,000 at a charity auction for The Alzheimer's Society.

The Class 57 locomotives were derived from the Class 47s with certain modifications added between 1998 and 2004, such as a reconditioned EMD engine and the same model of traction alternator as the Class 56.
In all their were 16 'Thunderbird' names given to 'Virgin' Class 57s. They are as follows:
